Hmm.
One or more of these statements must be true:
1) TI-89 BASIC can not do recursion properly
2) My code really sucks
3) It honestly does not have enough memory.

I found my ti-89 to be adequate for the weirdest bits of code.

...and I used hardly any memory to boot, just what in hell are you doing?
