It is going to take me a long time to turn my I in compilers into an actual grade.

I can shoot you what I did if you need an example. It's in Ruby, the lexer and parser were written with Rex and Racc, and it goes input source -> lexer -> parser -> syntax tree -> three-address code -> MIPS assembly. The generated code is, of course, awful, but it works.
