Okay, things aren't quite as good as they seemed. All the job/internship leads I thought I had a few months ago turned out to lead to just about nothing. I have no job for the summer, and I really don't want to spend it putting WAPs in rich yuppies' houses and having them tell me what a great guy I am for being able to do work a trained monkey can do. Can anyone on my friends list - or anyone reading this, for this matter - with any degree of pull at some tech-related company see if they can do anything to get me a summer job or (paid or UNPAID) internship?
I realize that this is asking a lot, and will come to nothing, and I'm putting forth effort on my side here, too. I just want to see if by any chance, someone here could help me out
