Looking through old irc logs when I ought to be saving my future...

I'd like to take this moment to say something
To everyone in #megazeux and its surrounding web of channels and communities, its intrigues, its rivalries, but most importantly, its friendships:
During the five years of my life I've spent with you, I've, frankly, been a moron.
I've broken up communities and friendships.
I've made stupid choices.
I've taken advantage of the fact I have/had things which others did not in order to be in a position of power over them.
I've claimed to have abilities I didn't.
I've let people down.
I've pretended to be something greater than I am.
I've manipulated people and situations for my own game and others' gain
I've been a pawn, and made people my pawns.
I've lied.
I've failed to treat most of you as human beings - through treating you as more than human (you know who you are) and treating you as less than human (you, too, know who you are).

I am what I am today because of all of you - and that's as much my fault as it is yours.

I'm sorry.

If you're a member or former member of the community (you know who you are), and you know others who are or were members who wouldn't be seeing this, pass it on with my thanks to you.

For the record, I don't really know what you're talking about. But I was always something of a non-entity, I think, in some ways.

And I am SO glad I didn't have a written record of my behaviour when I was a teenager.

So so so so so so SO very glad.

I hate logs. :) I prefer to the past to remain in the past, and I always find it weird when soemoen brings up something I said months or years ago verbatim.

Anyways, I still had lots of fun in the MZX days, and do miss the community, and I never saw this side of you, so. . . I forgive you :)
