annathystAccidentially restyled my journal while dicking around with the new S2 stuff. It was probably overdue for a change anyway, and I don't mind how it looks now.
Been home for the last two days or so, it's been good. Plenty of sleep, plenty of food, and plenty of time with Alex and Dave, We saw The Two Towers after an insane tai chin chicken run on Saturday...it was pretty good; not as good as Fellowship, and it left out one of my favorite scenes from the book, but good all the same.
Sunday we played System Shock 2 (may Looking Glass rest in peace). Still such a great game, a damn shame it'll never have a sequel. We made it through most of the game, up about 1/4 into deck 6. We'll finish it next time, after Alex gets back from skiing; in the interim, Dave and I will probably spend a lot of time driving around randomly.
Also had a dentist appointment saturday; apparantly, my wisdom teeth are coming in at a right angle to the rest of my teeth and really do need to come out. Bleah. I've heard so many horror stories about getting the damn things out...well, it won't be happening until this summer, so we'll see how it goes. But damnit anyway.
And on the subject of teeth, I've had braces for more than SIX YEARS now. Here's hoping the new orthodontist can be held to his promise that I'll have them off by the end of the school year...it seems likely, the springs (yes, real coil springs) and other bits he's added to the already formidable metal mass in my mouth have certainly done a lot in terms of straightening and space-closing and the like.
Dunno what I'm doing today. Probably just take things as they come...but damn, it's good to be on break.
