Mother FUCK.
It seems that, after its fall in transit, my heatsink's clip wasn't applying enough pressure.
So my BRAND NEW cpu is now ALSO dead, because I was too stupid to check the damn thing before installing.
I've broken too damn many expensive things over the last few weeks; add to that how I've been especially socially inept (and for me, that's saying a hell of a lot) all week, and I am not feeling good.

Wow, that sucks-- supersucks, even-- ...but ultimately, these are just things. And the socially-inept thing, well, that'll pass. Sucks while it's happening, though, I know.

I like to yell at the top of my lungs when stuff like this happens. Really. Some brain chemical thing-- makes me feel better. Might be worth a try...
