And, in another variation upon the theme of bad things happening to good bikes^W^Wmy bike, its carry rack broke; the metal strap securing it to the frame snapped while I was loading my laptop on.

I think I do need a break from here...being this close to so few people for so long (with only Boston-weekend as a real outlet) is beginning to drive me up the wall. I feel sucked dry.
