So the Bard High School Early College people are here on campus for a week.
That's cool. I have no problem with the campus being populated again.
What pisses me off is that one of them stole my bike and left it lying on the ground outside Fisher (the sciences building), with a bungee cord snared in the gears, the front brakes all messed up and the lock missing.

What the hell happened to respect for private property?

And how long have you been living in the real world?

What you need to do is add thrusting spikes to your bikes handlebars (I'm thinking something like the sword from Blade, here).

That way, if someone does try to steal your bike, their hands will probably still be stuck to it by the time you get back. And if not, there'll be enough blood around to identify them by DNA.

And you can be sure that they won't try to do it again.

The combination of a bicycle, bungee cord and ruined front brakes reminds me somehow of Jackass. I hate that program, and I hate people who steal bikes.
