And my further thoughts on the Visions issue:

- You can't retroactively relicense software or any other licensed items, except in a state in the US where the UCITA has passed, and that's maybe, MAYBE two states.

- I think that everyone, on both sides of the issue, needs to relax. Yes, visions is being a dick. Yes, brad may have said some un-politic things in his personal journal, but he's on vacation, and internal squabbling isn't fun anyway, and that journal is his. He created his journal to use instead of bradfitz just to avoid things like the backlash now.

he's trying to send everyone who's ever used his client to jail. cuz he got spanked by LJ admins in public

What's his reasoning? I read most of the relevant posts in lj_support and the client community, but I still don't understand what his reasoning is. He keeps saying someting about people breaking the law, and either his client of mods of his client (I don't know which) being illegal. WTF?

I'm wth teferi, it all sounds stupid, but I'm curious.
