Hung out with Luke and Max and their respective signifacant others and watched Whose Line Is It Anyway for two hours.
Was funny, yes. But made me feel even more lonely.
I suppose I should stop bitching, but...I feel alone. And I hate feeling alone. Especially, with, as thp said, Valentine's Day coming up.

Most of the couples I know--including the one I am half of--aren't really celebrating V-Day, if that makes you feel any better.

I'm sure it doesn't, but a girl can try, can't she? :/

Whoa... at least you're not cursed with something horrible happening to you every V-day! I mean, small pets have died on V-day for me... It's like an evil day.

Valentine's Day is just a marketing excuse for women to eat lots of candy and then go on those diet plans afterwards.

My problem is:
a) I know almost no girls here on campus
b) I don't know how to *meet* girls here on campus
c) I don't know how to *talk* to girls once I meet them.

Oh jeez, is it really that hard?

1. So what? You can *get* to know a girl by dating her.
2. The snack bar, the dining hall, the library, dances, concerts, other events, the student union, movies at the lecture center, through mutual friends. to name a few.
3. Same way you talk to guys. Having an X chromosome doesn't make us a different species.

Problem really is just going up to someone and talking to them. I just can't DO it.
If the other person's female, it's even harder.

So stand near a conversation and jump in at a point where you have something to say. Or wait until somebody does something really crazy and then comment on it. Shouldn't take too long, on this campus.
