There's quite a tradition now of using food-related terms to refer to computers:

  • Computer brand/model names (Apple, Tangerine ...)
  • Junk mail (spam, velveeta ...)
  • Components (Sun's "Happy Meal Ethernet" chipset, Pizza Box cases ...)
  • OS releases (recent Linux kernel was called -greased-turkey :o)
I'm sure there are others, but they escape me now I try to think of them.
