annathystWell, here I am on the final leg of this trip. The island is beautiful, I guess. Went kayaking yesterday, which was fun.
I respect Win2k quite a bit more now...with Cygwin and Activeperl it's a lot more unixlike. Hell, even cmd.exe isn't so bad. *dons asbestos underwear*
I go to the san juan county fair tomorrow...joy. I'm only going because of the hawaiian noodle stand there...best noodles i've ever had, bar none.
The thing I really miss most about home is communication. Not just my internet connection, either - my family sucks; I can't really have interesting conversations with them. It's only today I've gotten to IRC, and I've been bored as hell until now.
