Sep. 9th, 2001 03:57 pmGot all three EVA OSTs off the network. Woot.
Also found the source from MS-DOS 6.0; don't ask how.
This comment, from cmd\fdisk\fdisk.c amused and frightened me:
/* P.S. - To whoever winds up maintaining this, I will */
/* apoligize in advance. I had just learned 'C' when */
/* writing this, so out of ignorance of the finer points*/
/* of the langauge I did a lot of things by brute force.*/
/* Hope this doesn't mess you up too much - MT 5/20/86 */
On the other hand, at least that IS C. COMMAND.COM is entirely in ASM...
It also came with the complete Microsft C version 6.0 package - not C++, not Visual C++, Microsoft C.
It's missing the LANG (languages and il8n stuff), so I can't build it. Oh well.
It's still amusing...

Date: 2001-09-09 02:25 pm (UTC)I'd share with you directly, except I have a 200M/computer/day cap, and the tarball I made of the source is 19M.
