I agree. It took me 10 hours to download, and 45 minutes to beat. Once I got past the niftiness factor of blowing holes in stuff, it didn't really seem that exciting.
45 minutes? Damn. I explored everything and it takes less than 10 minutes.
It's not BAD, but it's nothing great. The Engine looks pretty much like Unreal/Deus Ex, but the story doesn't look nearly as promising as Deus Ex and certainly not System Shock.
The engine looks fekkin' cool, if you ask me. The physics are great, the enemies behave well, it runs on skyrider better than Q2, and geomod is just... a really good idea.
The story looks about on par with halflife, which should be fine if they keep the levels interesting and the action fresh. If the reviews make it sound like they pulled it off, I'll probably buy it.
Really, I'm just hoping the idea of completely destructable levels catches on. I want to see that in a game like Deus Ex :)
