Um, just so I know if got the joke right ... is the map thing to do with the Canadian political map that was allegedly stolen fromloosely based on the British Liberal Democrats' web site?
Nah, it's the map of the Alaskan National Wildlife Refuge that indicated that endangered species would indeed be harmed by Bush's energy plan that the government forced the scientist involved to take down.
In that case it's scary coincidence time ... a Canadian web site (I think it was a University or something) had a "political" map of the UK which turned out to be extremely similar to the one on the Liberal Democrats' web site over here, and they kicked up a big fuss. And the Kennedy reference is fulfilled by one Charles Kennedy, the LDs' Poo-Bah.
