I'm sort of pissed that tonight is Everwind's last session. We had a really cool campaign - how often do you get to kill a manifestation of a god? - and I learned how to play D&D a lot better than in my abortive first attempt.
But I'm most pissed about not getting to use my char anymore. Ashtae is level 10, has 28 int (hooray for magic headbands), psionics, tons of spells, a crystal ball, the Precious, a ring of wizardry, a gauntlet of spell resistance, a magic crown that lets him cast one extra spell in each castable spell level/day, and a literally priceless Staff of Power.
And now he's just going to sit there, unused. I want to play with my toys, damnit. :P

Duinlas is a level 12 Rogue with 22 str, 28 dex, 20 Int, 16 Con, 19 Wis, 14 Chr. 153psps, 7 psionic powers. Eyes that can see at 1d20+24, ears that hear at 1d20+22. The ability to pickpocket anything. Hide/move silent virtually automatically. Speaks 5 languages, has a 21 APC, Elven Steel, Barbed Arrows. 1d8+2 damage, 1d4 damage when removed, ignores all non-magic armor.
Elven, Masterwork Mighty(4) Composit Longbow. +4 hit, +8 damage.
and 45k in gold!

Cast Alarm with a perimeter directly around myself. I don't think you're getting through that without me noticing...
...or any wizard who can do that noticing.

You could be walking down the street. AFAIK, ALarm doesn't move from a fixed area.
