As if Valentine's Day wasn't depressing enough (viz. en masse exchanges of hugs, kisses, extravagent presents whilst I get three pity-cards (only one of which actually contained anything meaningful)), the most depressing typo in the world occured: Julia's note in the card ended with 'do fall in love with yourself' (she thinks I need more self confidence (which I do)). The person who typed the notes for candygram cards typoed it as 'do fall in love with me'. Approaching her with questions about that (mixed messages? she did turn me down lastweek ) yielded the intended text. God, I'm pathetic. Smacked down by a TYPO.

Still, more than I got.

Don't worry so much, rejection is a part of life.

And it's not easy...especially the first time (which I assume it is now, for you), and it takes time to get over the emotions that result.

But hey, tomorrow's a new day...you never know what may happen.
