As a Thief 2 Fan, I sympathize. And I know why they died.

Eidios owned them. And they decided that all the profit from SS2 and Thief and Thief 2 would go directly to the marketing budget of Daikatana. Then Romero spent more and more money and they deemed that Looking Glass wasn't making any money.

So long live John Romero who's only saving grace is that he'll burn in hell.

Well, that's not a saving grace is it?

But don't worry, Warren Spectre is working on Thief 3 now. He may do a SS3 too. Never know.

I am just getting into the whole Thief series and I'm royally pissed that utter trash like the psychotic menace to society known as Romero gets funding for anything at all and great set of producers like Looking Glass get shafted.

But then, this was Eidos.

He's beaten it now too, I just got to see all but the last mission...those turret things are nasty to begin with. I don't like the connotation of "turret room".

But I'll probably end up playing it anyway hehe
