... not really. Anarchy has essentially no unified system of control. Each person for his/her self. That's rather the antithesis of socialism

Rubbish. The definition of socialism is an economic system in which there is no private property. If it's not capitalism, it's socialism. Socialism is much broader than you think. Its forms are myriad.
