(no subject)

I know that if/when I go to sleep, I'm going to wake up to a lot of doom and gloom on my friends list about the election.

Folks, it's not over. It's going to be ten days before we know how Ohio goes, and if we win WI - which I think we will, we're in an extremely strong position going into the final Ohio count; that is, 252, assuming we win HI [update: CBS just called HI for Kerry], which I rather think we will.
I'm going to go out on a limb and predict a NV win too. I think NM goes Bush, and IA honestly is too close to call.

It's only beginning, folks. Break out all your pregnant chad jokes from 2000 - Ohio is this year's FL.

My thoughts exactly. People, it's not over, shut up, and let the count take place and stop letting the media control you. kthxbai.

Weee, in for the long haul again. Ug.

Well, I may have to go out and spend money I can't to buy things to keep me distracted. I'm just going to go ape shit crazy if I'm not distracted while waiting for all this dren to settle down.

Weee, Pirates of the Caribbean was totally what I needed tonight. Maybe Cowboy Bebop binge for after work tomorrow? Keep the frustration and stress down. I've done my part, I've voted, and my state gave it's 55 electoral votes to Kerry, damnit. Woo.

Glad to see you keeping your spirits up, and holding out hope. I was worried you'd be stressed out to the max over this. Well, you probably are, but at least you're keeping hopeful. ^_^

Besides, Redskins said it's Kerry's win, so I'm still waiting. ^_^

Right now I'm listening to reporters waiting for Kerry's concession speech. I think it's over. Given, Ohio is close, but as duinlas said, not nearly as close as Florida in 2000. Plus, Ohioans are stupid. I should know, because I live in Ohio.
