I can't drive until I get added to the insurance policy. And the insurance company is closed, so that won't happen until tomorrow.

That shouldn't be too much of a hurdle. I got my own insurance policy on the day I bought my car. Took maybe 20 minutes, including fine-tuning my dad's policy.
