that's pretty common. because a relationship carries a lot of baggage, and if you're tying to do schooling, and have any sort of goal. It's tough to work it.

She is a freshman, right? And classes start what, Monday?

In reality, she probably doesn't have a really good understanding of what sorts of time she will have, and I suppose it depends on her courseload.

Also, what exactly did she say 'No' to? Before a huge adjustment like that isn't the right time to start a relationship, really. I do not mean to be critical but it probably was a bad time to ask her to 'go out' or anything. Once she is settled...
