Heh, Rocky Horror is on AMC. Turning on the TV to have the Criminologist staring at me was amusing.

I've finished a lot of Heinlein this week, and need to pick up more. I still only have a vague grasp on his future history.

I go home Thursday, stagger in sometime on Friday. The Mystery of the Downed Server will be solved at that time...unless Dave's robot named Orlando gets here first to take me home

Stranger in a Strange Land is wonderful. It's been done a million times in movies and books, (Tarzan, The Jungle Book, Starman, K-Pax, E.T. etc..., but not necessarily so well.
Keep in mind as you choose that Heinlen began suffering from TIAs (mini strokes) in 1977, and IMO, the books published after this time are not of the same philosophical caliber as his prior works. Here's a pretty comprehensive set of articles and reading lists for him, 'Heinlein Links'
If you like a nice fluffy romp thru comparitive religion and social structure, may I recommend
Shari Tepper. Sadly, alot of her stuff is out of print, but can be gotten used or at a library.
Even fluffier sci-fi? Spider Robinson, you'll laugh your arse off...

Ah, just go crazy and read all the Heinlein you can get your hands on. There's always something good in all of them, even if it's only one or two really good sentences :). I think I personally just got turned off when he began publicly fantasizing about incest and rationalizing it in his later works...
