So we're getting together a bunch of machines to serve as a testbed for comparing NIS/NIS+ and LDAP and for practice in getting everything running - and using, Mmm, getting out of beeper hours for interesting sysadminny work.
Anyone reading have any experience with either or both with any success/horror stories?
