So Comcast's transparent proxy is being a piece of shit, some huge chunk of the web is entirely inaccessible.
Well, I can ping said sites, but packets to port 80 just don't do anything. Need to find a machine outside of comcast to run a proxy on...

after the first time that at&t screwed me, i moved everything to a high port. they can't block those.

only problem is that everyone needs to change their urls and such. sucks. but it makes youre web server much more private as you don't have outside people sweeping it as part of nimda stuff and things like that. `8r)

btw, dns issues with fscking comcast...

i'm sure one of the major gripes I have is the dns issues they are having, due to dns being udp. You might consider switching to a caching dns server. It's saving my ass, that's for sure.

Really? Even if you enter this way? I guess they could be blocking comcast... or comcast could be blocking them. Because it's still working for me.
