Sep. 10th, 2003 03:45 pmFinished unpacking all the stuff that Cory and I hauled down from the apt today - the room's set up quite nicely. Have to figure out where I'm gonna store all the things that aren't practical to keep in here until the parents come up for family weekend.
I really like the new room. It's small, but it's got enough light and a high enough ceiling that it doesn't feel cramped. The ceiling is almost ridiculously high, for that matter - it makes me want to build a second floor of some sort up there to store stuff in, but that'd be awfully hard to do without making big holes in the walls. Plus, it'd be much more effort than I'm really willing to devote.
Other nice things about the room: it's amazingly close to class, it's amazingly close to a dining hall, and most of my friends from ACM live in this section of the Quad, so I'm nowhere near as isolated. Very nice.
