Aug. 25th, 2003 11:53 amSo, one class down for today, one to go.
I talked to Prof. Cutler in chem this morning, and he said that he really can't tell me whether I'll be let into the class until Thursday, and even then, there's a waiting list - which I may or may not be on; the workings of the registrar's office seem to be entirely opaque. The thing I hate is the complete lack of any kind of visible status - I have no idea whether the special-permission form I filled in during registration is being acted on, ignored, or just hasn't been processed yet. If I go to the registrar to inquire, they'll just tell me the same thing they have the last two times - that they're working on them as fast as they can, go away and come back later. Grr.
Gonna meet John at Sage dining hall for lunch today and see if the food's any better than the Commons. Not that the commons food is bad - it's orders of magnitude better than SRC's food - just that it's closer to class, and variety is always nice.
