I had a wonderful dream last night, containing elements of many of the things which are still neat and good in my head: space travel, getting the hell away from earth, large space stations and orbital facilities, massively powerful pervasive computing facilities and the appropriate manipulators controlled by same, my family, escape, and - most importantly - a sane society.
I wish I remembered more of the details.
