Nov. 29th, 2002 06:40 pmWandered around Cambridge and Boston with the family as planned, checked out Harvard Square and Newbury Street and so on. Got some books from a SF/fantasy bookstore called Pandemonium Books - met someone else from SRC there too - and bought Lark's Tongues in Aspic and the Spock's Beard DVD. Listening to the former now, the latter will wait until my return to school, as the iBook doesn't have a DVD drive. I'm not complaining.
Lunch was at this odd neat grill place called Fire and Ice; you pick stuff, put it in a bowl, pick sauces, give it all to the grill-man, who cooks it. Flexible and tasty - I ended up with a very Asian dish, while my brother's was downright Southwestern.
Dinner tonight is at some Japanese place. I love food far too damn much.
Request for stuff to do still stands, though I'm sure we'll find enough on our own. I like this area...
