Work was boring, didn't get much done. Ben and Will are hanging out in my room; Ben is installing a freshly-pirated copy of OS X 10.2. Aren't broadband and P2P wonderful?
CPU comes tomorrow. More music and games again, more ways to kill time until we're actually allowed to socialize with the freshmen/until the rest of the school comes back from summer break. I need, badly, to meet more people.
And, while I'm on the subject of official albums and loneliness, I declare this song to be, vaguely, my theme song. Sad but true...

Today at work was a major cluster fuck. No one was sure what they were supposed to be doing, and it's only around now that any coherent tasks are emerging.
On the other hand, hyperion's new CPU SHOULD be arriving today, and - better- had lunch with a quite attractive freshman girl who's taking physics, calc, and Java this year. We'll see, but considering my track record and the fact that we're not allowed to socialize with freshmen outside of the dining hall for the rest of the week...

Ate what was probably my first vague approximation of a meal since last Wednesday - hooray for snack bar greasebrgers and curly fries. I didn't realize how hungry I was until I started eating.
The dining hall food has just been *that bad*.
Still hungry, and nothing to eat...I need to learn how to cook.
