Got aether back up, running Gentoo Linux now. Forgot to start sshd before I left this morning, so I'll have to wait until I get home to continue bringing it up and restoring my backed-up homedir

Still feeling kind of down.

Tried out CVS logjam on aether, and, well, I'm not impressed. The UI is clutteriffic, without the dropdown elegance of current stable LogJam or my old workhorse 1.4.7-beta on win32.
Ohwell, Ill just not upgrade.
Got Snow, the Spock's Beard concept album from a friend; listening to it now I'd like it a lot better if I could listen to it on a system with a decent soundcard; magus sounds just awful

Have to be up in less than eleven hours to help stem the tide of freshlings. Not sure what I'm doing tonight; I'll probably go bother Will and Ben later, or something.

I don't really have anything else worth writing about.
