It's smaller than 15".
It has a ridiculous amount of curvature - the screeen is actually DISTORTED from the curvature.
The dot pitch is disgusting.
And it can only do 60Hz at 1024x768.
Well, at least it's not mine, or in my room. School is welcome to these crappers.

'pierced phallic symbols' - comes from looking at a chunk of old doodles from being bored in class and noticing that most of them consisted of rectangles, cones, or combinations thereof with stuff sticking out of 'em.
'silencing the discord' - 'SILENCE THE DISCORD!' is one of the battle cries of the hybrids from System Shock 2. It's fun to run around screaming it. Try it, you'll like it.
'random shiny objects' - I have a very short attention sp-ooh, what's that?
'not being seen' - A classic Monty Python sketch, 'How Not to be Seen'.
'spock's beard' - Nothing to do with Vulcans. A really neat progressive rock band.
'great justice' - Zero Wing. If you didn't get that, well...all your brain are belong to the rock you've been living under.
