Jan. 13th, 2001 12:48 amtoday owned.
didn't have much in the way of classes because 1) it was friday (no spanish class!) and 2) there was some sort of MLK Day event downtown that was really a PR farce for the mayor, but our school went anyway, and it ate up a period.
Anyway, after school, I hung out with Andrew and various theater people, helped with stage setup, watched last-minute rehersals, and mooched pizza. This ate up another few hours.
Then the play(s) started. It was a one-act play lineup, with something like 5 plays, all except for possibly one were very good. A significant number of them were directed by students, which was cool.
After the show, and the general celebration backstage, Laura, Julia, Rose, Andrew, Jake, and Genevieve all hung out, and ended up at a playground in some park, where we capered around like fools until a police officer came by. Around then I left, and Julia decided to come with me, for reasons unknown.
Julia is a really cool person; she's smart, she let me vent on her, she vented on me (on the way to the train), and I get an impression that she -is- attracted to me. Anyway, I made the 11:37 train and got home at around 12:30.
Cool day and night. Only spent six hours of it at home (and those were sleeping). Woo.
Me happy. Me sleep soon.
